Need support

Hi everyone haven't posted for a while because I just moved across the country to victoria, bc and now haven't weighed myself in a week because Icouldnt take my weighing machine, and now cannot afford to buy one. I need help to move to another place because where I'm living is unsafe and I need a job, and to get into school. So if I could get some support because my family back home is not surrporting me and I have no one here, no family, no friends, and the people I live with are strangers and don't like me. Peace , midnight blue, I feel very depressed!!!

I'm sorry that you're so troubled at the moment and wonder if there's a government agency that can help you with housing/work/school, as most of us are 9,500 miles away.

You could still join the chat on the What's Happening Today thread and post your menus on the Daily Diary, join a club,or two and take part in our exercise challenges.

Do doctor's surgeries/chemists have scales that you could use? Although it's the healthy living that's more important than a number on the scales.

I'm sure that as you get used to being where you are, you'll get to know your housemates better and life won't feel as grim. Take each day as it comes and keep posting

My parents, cat and wife died, so I do not get much support (OK, my father would have been 110).

You have a phone (or a computer or something) so you have us.

Oh Midnightblue I feel for you. But I am sure things will get better. Are there any clubs in the area which you can join? Being here is great as you know and everyone is very supportive. Forget about the scales for now and just concentrate on eating healthy things. Keep posting
