Ewe's no Moo

Mitigation: The title is not sexist, as bulls also moo, and I hope no sheep on this forum are offended!

Cows, sheep and giant pandas have to eat most of the day because they have a diet with very low energy density.

Hummingbirds have to eat most of the day, as they could not hover if they carried much fat reserve.

Polar bears and brown bears have to eat all day in the autumn, as they need to build up fat reserves to last then through hibernation.

We (humans) do not have any of these excuses, so we only need to eat meals… and it is between-meal snacks that are the downfall of many dieters’ efforts.

…so remember, next time you are tempted by a sweet, snack or treat: Ewe’s no Moo.

(Crocodiles are cold-blooded, and live in the tropics, so they can get away with only eating a few times a year.)

My problem is usually that, soon after this time of year, I do start laying down extra fat for hibernation.

I usually come out of hibernation quite early, on February 14th, put on my teddy-bear suit, buy a bunch of flowers and give them to 20 or so young ladies round the town (many of these young ladies are over ninety years of age).

See, I totally chose the right username. That is what I do, when I'm not on a diet of course, I graze and eat food with little nutritional value so am always hungry. And as KarenaCadenza says, oh to be a crocodile.
