I love peanut butter! Especially great mixed into porridge 😍 I think it's okay to enjoy it in moderation, its high in protein but also high in fat and thats something you monitor if you follow macros or certain diets. Also, I prefer 100% peanut butter because its not got any added salt (it tastes quite different & is runnier, just so you know if you ever try it!)

I prefer Almond butter or Cashew butter, and I eat them with yeast extract on rice cakes... I think they are good foods, but I have not made a study of it.

The tub I have at the moment is coconut and something.

Ive lost weight and am a longterm maintainer and peanut butter is included regularly in my diet to maximise my intake of protein and healthy fats.

The healthiest brand I've found so far in UK is wholenut and approx 4% sugar ... unfortunately most brands are very high sugar.

It is delicious spread on celery sticks for a satisfying snack that takes a while to munch through. Or I add it to porridge, or simply eat a spoonful from the jar and count it in my daily log.

I think it is yummy on crumpets....it sinks through the holes so I only have a teaspoon as high calorie value.

It's what you like and what motivates you to carry on . If you like anything then in moderation following a healthy lifestyle then why not . I have stopped banning anything just have small portion and look what it contains so if something tasty has a higher fat content then I will balance rest of day or next day . This is for life for me and I am not seeing this as a punishment or regime . I now lose about 1lb a week and rarely gain so this will do for me .

We use peanut butter flour which has had some of the fats rolled out

Also today found in Sainsbury's a wee bar if peanut butter filled chocolate...when I opened the box it had little individual wraps. Each wrap has 4 squares and is 68 calories per wrap 😊😊😊😊😊😀😀😀😀

I suppose the answer is "it depends".

If you're eating a low-carb diet it's OK in moderation (as long as it has no added sugar), but all beans, including peanuts, are quite high-carb. We make our own peanut butter at the restaurant and it's so delicious I could eat it by the tablespoonful. I therefore stay away from it :)
