You may want to think again about being strict with yourself. The reason that the NHS 12 week plan has a higher calorie allowance than people might expect is to prevent the issue where strictness causes people to feel hungry and consequently overeat.

Hi EmilyOC1 , is there any way of getting the junk out of the house, at least until you've got really established on your healthy eating plan? :)

Hi EmilyOC1

Ok so you have gone over board the last few days, please don't make the mistake of trying to be too strict with yourself and not eat enough calories as you will only end up snacking. My advice would be to draw a line under it and start again today but in your allowed calories. We all go off the rails on the odd time but if your too strict you will end up hungry and over do it again.

Onwards and downwards. :)

I agree with Rose and Tiggerr, rather than trying to be super strict, take time to establish sensible, healthy eating habits, within the target calorie range suggested by the NHS BMI checker

We binge when we feel hungry and deprived, 😕

Good luck Emily

Not to worry, I’ve let go a bit as well. As long as you get back on track try not to beat yourself up or be too strict. Being kind to yourself is key.

Stop your worrying. It happens to the best of us! The key is to get back on it. Some people worry far too much about slip ups that they end up throwing in the towel. Only worry about the present. The past is the past and tomorrow will take care of itself. :D
