So the rest of yesterday went fab and came in under daily calories and my exhibition went great, to all of you wondering I've just graduated as a Ceramicist and I couldn't have asked for a busier start and more publicity for my work! I'm so pleased and excited about what's still to come! Right back to it.....today well....let's just say I need to be very organised and under calories if possible for the rest of the week! But onwards and upwards, and at least I know and willing to work hard for the rest of the week, right?
Tomorrow morning will include meal planning for everyday next week and then a mammouth gym session! Once I'm there I quite enjoy it (a month or so ago I would never have said that!!!!!) But the thought of spending my Sunday afternoon at the gym isn't too appealing at the moment.
Let's see what the next week bring's, hope your all having a great weekend!

Well done on the good start to your career, it must be so exciting!
I find that it really helps me keep on track if I plan my meals for the week and it stops me having those times when I would get home from work and decide I was too tired to think about what to cook and so would hit the multi pack of crisps instead!
CM love ceramics....love to here more about your work..you should post pics...as for gym..perhaps as a creative soul you'd prefer to be out and about...have a look at the weather and be inspired by nature!...
Try cardio interval training at home. Takes a lot less time out of your life. This morning I've done a total of 300 reps with light weights, biceps and triceps day plus a 10 minute HIITS session and only took me 40 minutes. Only need a cheap set of weights (Argos) £30.00
Saved me a fortune in gym membership and far less time taken out of my life. 4 good workouts a week is plenty enough as the body does need rest days and really effective.
Been doing this for last 4 months and in that time have lost 2 1/2 stones and more Importantly 6'inches from my waist. High intensity interval training has been shown to be far more effective in burning fat than the conventional gym cardio machines for a fraction of the time.
If I was just doing cardio with no weights the maximum time spent would be 20 minutes and this includes 10 minutes of rest periods. There would be some time before and after with warm up and cool down.
Plenty of free advice and videos of HIITS workouts on YouTube. I find I am not quite supple enough to do some of them so all I do is run up and down on the spot for 30 seconds at maximum effort followed by 30 seconds rest then repeat for between 15 and 20 times. Usually just do 16 so a total time spent actually exercising is 8 minutes. It is 8 minutes of mega hard work though. I know some will think this cannot be enough to be effective but trust me it is.
Google HIITS and have a look at the benefits of this form of training.
Congratulations CM I would also love it if you would post some photos of your work. Enjoy your reflective Sunday in the gym - it is all part of the great life you are making. 🏃🏼
