Following the NHS weight loss program and getting the encouragement from you here has helped me lose 50lbs.

2 days ago a qualified as a UK Athletics Leader in Running Fitness. This coming Saturday I enter my first 10k race. I will more than likely come last but my achievement is actually being able to enter the event.

Recovering from open-heart surgery has not been easy. From when I was on life-support until now has taken 4 long years with many setbacks along the way.

Anything is achievable if you put your mind to it, including life.

I sincerely hope you all achieve your own goals.

Thank you all for your kind words of support. I shall think of you when I cross that finishing line on Saturday. To reach one horizon to be able to see another.... Life is like that, one horizon at a time.

See your horizon in front of you and reach out for it. With effort, determination and the support of others, you can and will get there.

Look after yourselves and remember this. There is no such thing as failure as long as one tries.
