Hello I'm trying to lose weight as I'm 16 stone and have c.o.p.d I'm good during the day but can't stop snacking at night. Help

Hello Hop32007 . You're not alone in this. These are my immediate thoughts.
First thing I'd suggest is make sure you're not hungry, so once you've checked your BMI and the recommended calorie range, stick within the upper half of that range at present.
But evening snacking is often not about hunger but about boredom, anxiety or something else emotional, in which case you need to pin down what it is and make some changes in that direction.
And the final and most obvious point is, don't have unhealthy snacks in the home, then you can't be tempted

I find once I've had dinner, I brush my teeth.. By that point it's more effort to eat then clean them again so it deters me away from snacking. I also find bathing and getting straight into bed I stay away from the kitchen too
