Hi everyone, I have been missing on here for almost a year and am wanting to re-join. The reason is that I lost my dear husband of 69years last April. (That will give away my age I know, but I am told I don't look it. I was married at 20 and husband 22. Lots have happened since then of course but weightwise I have actually lost.(not surprising ) I would like to post my weight of this morning 1.1.2018.

137.4lbs. I know! My goal was 140lbs and I reached that in October. I just want to stay within that range now. Will look forward to reading the posts done So pleased to see familiar names among the Admin. Well done for keeping this going, it is so important for so many of us.

Hello feelgood41 , we haven't met before.

What a wonderfully long marriage, very few can claim a loving relationship of such length. Your dear husband would be so proud of your determination to keep going and for taking care of yourself.

Well, you've achieved your weight goal so you have a lot to share with us who are plodding their way there. I'm sure you'll enjoy getting involved with the forum again :)

I am so sorry to hear your sad news, feel good, you must have been devastated! To lose someone that's been such a huge part of your life, for so many years, must leave a massive void.

I take my hat off to you for being able to stay so strong and for being able to maintain your weight! You're an inspiration to us all.

There's a place being kept for you, in our maintainers' club :)

I Weighed myself today and I have gained 3/4lb.

The group forum is first class.

Take care of yourself and one step at a time.

Kind regards George 56

Thank you Zest. I have already booked for a Coach tour in April after having enjoyed the last one in September. There I met 2 super ladies one of whom is joining me in April. Not too much walking which is about right for me at this point in time. it includes a River trip. Hope to have built a few lbs in hand for that!
