Keeping Motivated

Hi, I'm new on here. I've joined today hoping this will help me change my eating habits for good. I've been to slimming clubs, got to my goal, and eventually put the weight back on plus 2 stone more! I'm hoping reading everyone else's posts will help keep me motivated.

Hello and welcome to the Weight Loss Forum Hidden

I hope we can help you in your weight loss journey an that you will soon be changing your username!

I'd like to invite you to join our Newbie Club, which we hope will be a good place for you to connect with members, who are also just starting out. If you just post a few words to introduce yourself and respond to others there, you'll soon break the ice. Here's the link

You'll find all the information you need to navigate the forum in the header and a link to the 12 week plan, so please take the time to read it carefully.

Wishing you all the best

Hi fatlass88 and welcome! we will encourage you, give you some good ideas and some wonderful recipes if you will read our posts! I love newbies as I am kinda one myself. I am back here again knowing this is the place to be. we offer a new way of life, not a diet really and this is the way to a new healthy life style. it will work if you work it. I personally use smaller plates and smaller portions and have lost 20 pounds in 12 weeks. (I did gain 3 over the Christmas holidays, but I will get it back off soon!) Welcome again and hang out with us!

Hi fatlass88. I’m like you have done all the slimming clubs out there, some with more success than others. I’ve spent a great deal of money over the years, some of the leader/consultants are not at all helpful despite all the advertising saying how wonderful they are....I realise we can only do this for ourselves but a bit of comraderie and chivying along means a great deal...good luck with success on HU....I will look out for you in the posts.

I agree with Anna61 you need to change that name ..I feel bad about calling you that... sorry..

Hi lilly657, thankso for your comments. i totally agree with you the camaraderie really helps and feel posting on here and reading everyone else's posts will really help me. It makes you realise you're not alone, everyone on here is on here for the same reason. I may consider changing my name but when I posted last night it represented how bad I was feeling. Thank you so much for your positive comments.
