See the long term goal, plan and count, simple really, and avoid temptation, don't over eat, check portion sizes

Hi HealthierStudent15

Have a look at some of the challenges in the Pinned post section on the right hand side or at the bottom if your on a mobile. They are good for keeping you focussed and motivated on hitting a weekly target. You are welcome to join in any of them and as many as you like.

Hiya, I find giving myself non-food rewards for hitting interim targets a great way to keep focused, and it breaks up the slog. Think up some treats that relate to you, or something that you've wanted to do/buy/see for a while but couldn't quite justify doing just for you. Doesn't have to be expensive, could just be taking time out to walk round a museum or gallery if that's what you like, or spending a few extra pounds on your favourite shampoo or body lotion instead of buying the sensible cheap stuff. Needs to be something for you though.

Having said treats don't have to be expensive, I've just booked a day trip to Paris for myself as a reward for hitting a goal I wasn't sure that I'd ever make. Oops!

I'm finding being part of several challenges keeps me focused. Also make some small goals along the way with non-food rewards as suggested above. If you are struggling, keep posting, I can guarantee that someone will come a long with a bucket full of support to keep you going:)

Stay strong . Think how much better you will feel for loosing weight , I have managed to loose 14 lbs but seem to be slow mode for shifting more lbs ! Exercise does help , I luv walking so with better weather on the way this helps one to go exercise e.g. Race for life ! Varied meals helps to along with meal planing ahead to keep focused . Good luck
