I feel sad and unhappy because I haven’t lost any weight from past two weeks. I have been losing some every week since I started my diet in September so I don’t know what’s happening now. Although I have been eating healthy but only doing few walk because I had flu and my 6 months old baby got it from me. Having many sleepless nights but I was hoping I would still lose some weight. I need some kind of motivation and if anyone out there feels same like me.

I'm here. I understand. I have been gaining and losing the same five pounds since July!! When you get sick and dont sleep enough unfortunately it shows. Just stay on track and keep going. You'll start losing again. I think mine is from stress that's been going on for months. I'm really trying but no success right now, but I'm not giving up. Good luck to you!
Thanks for your support. I know why we get so down quickly when we don’t achieve the results we are expecting. May that’s our human nature. I am not going to give up this time.
There could be any number of reasons why this has happened, Zaraatif:
Too many calories/too few calories. Revisit the NHS BMI calculator, to check that you're eating the correct amount.
Your body is fed up with 'dieting' and needs a period of maintenance, before moving forward.
Lack of sleep and illness can play a big part.
You need to change what you're doing, to give your body a shake up.
It's early days and too soon to get depressed about it, when you've had a good 3 months of losing every week. Why not log onto the Daily Diary, for some new ideas?
Thanks for your advice. I agree may be I need to revisit the whole diet plan. I won’t give up yet and keep going till I achieve my target weight. It’s a long and hard journey with young baby but I will keep trying!
I fully understand what you mean as I have had a large period of about 2 months now maybe even longer of not losing properly as I keep going up and down between 5 cals only and won’t do anything more. As it is Christmas I have decided now that I am going to have a period of about two to three weeks of normal eating like my husband does and I know my weight is going to go up a bit as I am staying with my in-laws over Christmas but I am sure it will kick it a bit for me to lose weight again. I was advised to do this by a nurse as this apparently is what she had to do ages ago for herself to do it. I think it is going to be worth it. I will try not to go too mad.
Sometimes it’s hard to work out what’s best and right for your body. I only eat healthy but sometimes may be I am eating less because I don’t have time to cook with young children. My husband is not with me in this diet plan because he never puts on any weight no matter what he eats or drink. So I am kind of on my own and no one understands that what I am going through. Every time my BMI shows I am obese it just like I want to get fit and lose this weight I am carrying about.
