Hi everyone,I have been on a cholesterol table for the past year and this week I have had to go on a blood pressure tablet,I really wanted to avoid taking tablets, however all my family are on cholesterol tablets,so I dont think losing weight would have made a difference,I have just turned 50 and don't want to be starting on tablets so early in my life ,I currently weigh 16 + stone so really need to get on track,I don't want to spend the next few months eating only fruit all day long,I would love some suggestions on what to eat for lunch as I work full- time and run out of ideas,

Hi and welcome to the community!! I eat lots of tuna and tomatoes and cucumbers, grilled chicken and fish. I work full time too and have to be creative. Lots of nuts and fruits for snacks. Good luck to you!!
Hello. I have a limited diet due to allergies so homemade soup and a yogurt is what I take to work every day.
I have managed to get off of blood pressure tablets by making diet and lifestyle changes but have had to go back on cholesterol tablets as this is hereditary rather than dietary (so wish it wasn't because they make me feel awful!)
Good luck with losing weight I'm sure it will make a difference to your blood pressure and I'm sure you can do it.
