Here is another attempt to lose weight properly. My issue is I can be great all day and then I get home and tend to have a mini binge on all the wrong stuff, undoing the good choices I made in the day. Hoping this forum will offer me support to make changes.

Hiya Raindrops - it's good to recognise where you 'go wrong' in a day - knowledge is power!
My issue was eating 'treats' all day - mid-morning, after lunch, before dinner, and then all evening too. To break this cycle, I picked one thing I really loved (but couldn't really binge on), and set an amount and time of day to eat it.
So, for me I had dark chocolate - which I find satisfyingly chocolately but I can't eat a whole bar like I could milk chocolate! Setting a fixed amount (usually 6 pieces, which is about 120 calories), and a set time of day to eat it (after my dinner) - really worked for me.
This way, when I would crave a treat earlier in the day, I mentally wouldn't 'panic' that I wouldn't get any treats, as I knew I could have a treat later. Having a set time/amount helped me initially break the cycle of continual treat-eating, and gave me some control - that, yes, I could eat a bit of a treat, but in a sensible amount. Now it's less of a mental issue as I'm more used to eating smaller portions and have more knowledge around what a sensible portion looks like.
Good luck and I'm sure with the support of the forum you will find your way!
