Slow and steady is a good approach. This is not "a diet" it is a new way of life, so we need to learn new habits if we're to lose the weight and (importantly ) keep it off.
If the whole thing seems too daunting just make one or two healthy changes at a time. eg: swap sweet fizzy drinks for diluted squash, or sugary cereals for porridge oats or eggs. This will give you confidence that YOU are in control, not the food controlling you.
Lots of helpful people on this site to guide you along on good days and bad days. Welcome.
Yeay! Cool attitude. Good for you and best of luck ππππ
Slow and steady not only wins the race, it embeds good habits in you over a period of time. It has taken me nearly a year to lose the stone I needed to shed (only a pound off now), but I love this healthy lifestyle and planning interesting and imaginative meals. I wonβt say never, because we can all fall off the wagon at times, but I plan to stay on it for good now, with the help and support of this community.
What a great positive - can do attitude!!! Love it, well done 66lisa !
