Here's the thing. I'm sat here in Cafe Rouge with the rest of the clan but I've already had breakfast just as they did just 2 hours ago.
This last day meal is a traditional thing but the battle has been won so I'm sat here surrounded by 15 others who are all tucking into their full English while I sip my tea!
I must say the smell is all rather seductive but not as much as my need to be healthy.
I wouldn't be winning in this wee skirmish if not for you folks here so I'm raising my cup of sugarless tea to you!
Have a lovely day all.

Welcome StephyCara . I see you've made a good start already by responding to MrJoshua 's post. That's exactly what we're all here for, to encourage each other on and help each other when we fall of the wagon, as happens sometimes.
Hope you enjoy getting to know everyone and best of luck on your first week.
Thank you Morgancando By the way - I just posted in the Newbie bit but don't think I have done it right as my post seems to have disappeared and can't see it anywhere.
Thank goodness Tiggerr has eagle eyes and spotted you hiding away here
I'd like to invite you to join our Newbie Club, which we hope will be a good place for you to connect with members, who are also just starting out. If you just post a few words to introduce yourself and respond to others there, you'll soon break the ice. Here's the link
What I've found on my journey MrJoshua is that in these situations, I sit back, sip my tea or similar and feel proud of myself and terribly, terribly smug. Should I feel smug... hell yeah, I'm looking after my long term health and so are you. Big up to you!
Another great example today of someone being mindful and changing their long term habits for new better ones.
Haa haa, that's me! In the cinema I sit enjoying the rustle of packets and packaging and the munching knowing of all those calories that people are unknowingly consuming - thousands of calories of food that offer no nutritional value whatsoever.
Sometimes have to stop myself and remind myself that I am there to watch a movie!
Well done MrJoshua Great willpower and determination.☺
Do you know what? That is a brilliant achievement! It shows that you are starting to change habit and your mental attitude towards food.
That's a significant step!
Well done!
Well done, that must have taken some doing as I know it's not easy being 'the one' in such a large group but you're awesome for sticking to your guns on this.
Well done to you MrJoshua . Like you, I have become so much more aware of how eating is such a social phenomenon - we are all being tempted to eat when our bodies do not require it - from being offered a cake in the office, to finishing up leftovers to show appreciation to a loved one for cooking the meal. So many social rituals revolve around food - and eating out is such a challenge due to high fat choices (chips or cream with everything) or large portion sizes to suit a manual labourer!
