I WILL do this

I've just completed an hours intensive exercise! πŸ‘ŠπŸΌ

Was a normal morning, routine with my son. Had breakfast (shreddies) play time etc. Once he went down for a nap I cleaned the kitchen down and thought stop telling myself I will exercise later and just bloody do it πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈ it was hard I'm not going to lie but I did it...

5 miles on my bike, around 50 sit-ups (that's a lot for me since my c section)

Press up (the girly version I'll admit, I have a broken toe that never healed so I can't put a lot of pressure on my left foot and I have torn the ligaments and tendons on my left knee to πŸ™„ past injuries that I didn't get seen)

A bit of yoga (simple stuff) and finished it off with a 15/20 mins dance work out πŸ™ŒπŸΌ

I will achieve the body I want!!! Done it before so I can do it again

Well done Chunkycharlie 😊 it feels so good afterwards doesn’t it? And I agree with you totally about β€œdone it before so I can do it again ” mentality 😊 of course you can 😊😊😊

Thank you Anna61

It's mostly motivating myself to do it. After spending all day sorting everyone else out I just want to sit down in peace, but I'm trying to get a routine together. Maybe once my son goes for his nap I can do what I have done today 😁

I intend on doing more once he's in bed tonight. See how much I can get done

I might hang my old bikinis on my bedroom door for motivation πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Well done you-once you have the right mindset you can achieve whatever you want. Brilliant news. Feel very proud of yourself.

Wow. Congratulations. Wish I had half the motivation as you.

I’m scared to do sit ups after my c-section as it’s still numb.

Your going to be such an inspiration to your son. 😊

Thanks ceals and our-nat

I had the same issue. I tried to do too much straight after my c section and tore all my stitches and pulled my staples πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈ I refused to admit I needed help πŸ™„

My son is now 17 months old and I'm determined to shift my baby fat πŸ™ŒπŸΌ

Ouch! That sounds really painful.

Glad you had a good workout! Here's to many more. :)

in reply to Chunkycharlie

Oh. That sounds painful. Thankfully I healed really well just obviously not completely as a section about 3cm above and below the scar is still numb.

You can do this. I am routing for you. πŸ˜€

I still have numbness and it still itches (been told it doesn't go away either πŸ™„πŸ™ˆ) I think you just learn to live with it.

You can do it too!! All in time. When did you have your child?

in reply to Chunkycharlie

My little man is 15 months on the 1st Nov.

Feels like 5mins ago In someways and 5 years ago in others.

Annoyingly I weigh more since having him then I did when I was pregnant with him lol.

I feel the same. I can't remember what it was like before I had him lol

I do too πŸ™ˆ I gained a lot of weight as I wasn't able to do much after the c section. It's frustrating isn't it.

in reply to Chunkycharlie

Strange isn’t it. You think you will miss the days per little one, then you can’t remember what it was like.

I wasn’t small before I had him but bigger now. Never mind at least we are both in the right place with all this wonderful support around us πŸ˜€

So true. I don't really remember much about the first 2 weeks. It doesn't bother me, I'd rather go through all that hell again then what could have happened. I was told another 10 mins and we both would have died πŸ˜±πŸ™ˆ scary stuff.

This is the most supportive and nonjudgmental group I have found... think I may stick around πŸ˜‚

in reply to Chunkycharlie

Bless you. That is scary stuff. I can’t imagine how horrible that must of been for you all. My c section was planned, having an emergency one is so much harder to recover from.

So nice to hear you have a toddler to keep you on your toes now.

I love this forum. I won’t be going anywhere anytime soon πŸ˜€

Have you got a particular goal in mind for your weight loss journey?

Chunkycharlie profile image
Chunkycharlie in reply to

Yeah I want to get down to around a 12 in jeans again and size 10 tops. That's my real goal.

I'm currently a 16 in jeans and 14-16 in tops

And I want to be healthy πŸ™ˆ

Good job!

I'm a bit like a wild horse when exercising πŸ™ˆ I just do what I feel my body needs.

Have you got any suggestions? I need to build my tummy muscles up as they have not been used properly in a long time. I want to loose my weight from my thighs, hips, tummy and back πŸ™ˆ

Proud of you!...

Did you dance to music you already have or a zumba type video??

Thank you last mountain 😁

I just put on Spotify πŸ™ˆ looked for dance workouts and found a few on there. As long as it has a good beat to keep you pumped up and motivated
