Fluctuating between 10st & 10st 10lbs! FrustratingšŸ˜„

ā€¢6 Replies

Hello all...I'm a newbie here but not a newbie to weightloss...it's so hard when you're over 40 lol & a chocoholic.

Some days I eat healthily but some days I binge on junk. Why are some people always motivated not to put an ounce on their bodies? I have friends like these.

Hoping to get inspiration from other people's journeys...please be kind to me šŸ˜‰

Iā€™d like stronger legs and sit up but motivation to do it please

Prob best to go with like minded friends for motivation. I find that if I push myself to go to the gym even for a zumba class I force myself & come out happy I did. At the moment I'm thinking any exercise is worth doing than doing nothing at all. You can do it!

I reckon we all have these stumbling blocks we get stuck on.

I had lost around 20 kgs but seemed to then fluctuate between 130 and 134 kgs

I could not seem to crack the 130's for months and I wasn't very focused on losing. A few good days and then junk and then more good days.

I was in hospital for 10 days recently and thanks to not eating junk I got home and was 128.

Just breaking that 130 barrier has made a big difference and I am now finding it much easier to eat healthy and continue losing.

I am not saying you should land yourself in hospital :) but it show how that sort of barrier can really effect your mentality around losing.

All I can say is knuckle down for 2 weeks, be strict, be kind to yourself, exercise, eat right and don't weigh yourself. every day.

Once you get to say 9st 12lbs I am sure you will find your mindset changing.

Or just go into SVT at 250 beats per minute like I did and land in hospital for a week and a half.

Potarto potaytoe LOL

Well done you! But yeah landing in a hospital won't be in my list of options. Lol

I am trying to do lots of activities where I can. It's the motivation to keep doing it makes it hard for some of us. Perhaps a boot camp might be the answer.

Not what you're looking for?
