Like other watchers I have stayed the same and am feeling a bit un enthusiastic about myself this is week 9 and I don't seem to be able to crack the 80 kgs mark though I should be pleased I have stayed the same. It has been a busy week with birthdays and now half turn looks like I will have to wait(see what I did there) a little while longer Will do my best fruit for breakfast eggs for lunch fish and chicken for dinner with veggies and salad and not too much alcohol. Done!!
Thanks for listening goodluck

As you've missed the Saturday weigh-in arty, you have a week to get the scales moving. I suggest that you log onto the Daily Diary, so that we can see what you're eating and then we may be able to help you to tweak your menus
Have you measured your waist or looked for any other signs that the weight is slowly shifting, arty65 ? My watch strap is now so loose, I can never see the time, as it slips round my wrist! My wedding ring is also looser. That and over a long period of time, I have gone down at least one dress size. And in all that time (ten months) I have only lost just under a stone (to be fair, I haven't got much more to lose, but the point I'm making is that it's not all about the scales.) And if you have stayed the same after birthday cake, then you must be doing really well on the other days! STS is good!
Thank you No I have not checked my waist size although my trousers do feel bit more comfortable,I don't wear a watch and I had to have my wedding ring enlarged because I could not get it off due to swollen finger. Never mind I will press on we are looking after a dog this week so I should fit in a bit more exercise. Thank you for the tips last time I measured my waist it was 37 on a good day I just didn't want to go and a have to buy 38 in waist !! I think maybe I will alter my thinking and do some core work. Still do the Saturday weigh and hopefully achieve under 80kgs then STS will be good.
It can be quite disheartening when the scales don't move, though as you say, it's always a good thing to not be putting weight on.
Your menu looks sensible but at the same time you mention birthdays and alcohol, is that because these things are holding you back? If they are, maybe you can think of ways that you can future plan for them.
That is good going I don't know about the 800calories a day I have cut out a lot of sugar and cut down on the dairy. I will look at the daily diary and see what comes up without being too complicated. Good luck to you too
