Hello everyone, I'm coralzrk been reading some of your topics and find them very inspirational on how you give each other support. Have been trying to lose weight but never seem to achieve much.
Had problems due to renal cancer, tend to have a lot of ITI infections. At present all is stable except for the continuous hot flushes which leave me feeling very tired.
BMI is 28 5' 2.5 weigh 71kg. Can anyone suggest where I start?
Looking for more inspirational ideas to improve my weight . x

The best advice I had was eat the right number of calories, don’t e tempted to go too low. There is a link to the NHS BMI checker in the Newbie Club which will suggest a target calorie range 😊
Welcome! I'm sure you'll find plenty of support and inspiration here. I did the NHS 12-week plan starting last November, which was great. I like that plan as I felt informed (rather than the reality of my choices being 'hidden' , which is how I felt about WW and SW). I lost about 1.5 stone doing the NHS plan, then continued calorie counting afterwards and lost another stone so far. Couldn't possibly have done it without the support of this forum. Best of luck without whichever method you choose - and whatever you choose, there will be someone else on here doing it I'm sure!!
