“We Have All the Time in the World” sung by Louis Armstrong

On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969) is the sixth spy film in the James Bond series, based on the 1963 novel of the same name by Ian Fleming. The Theme music for that film is “We Have All the Time in the World” written by David Hal, the music was composed (as ever) by John Barry and was performed by Louis Armstrong. At the time Louis Armstrong was too ill to play his trumpet and the recording session for this turned out to be Louis Armstrong's last.

The reason for this choice of song for me this week is this ends five weeks being stuck at 189 lbs (13 stone 7 lbs), and I have gone from the 7lbs to the 6lbs on this sixth week, so wanted something related to six. I am a Bond fan and love Louis Armstrong’s contribution to music, so what better choice than his last recording …

My son is a huge bond fan even though at nearly 34 he still hasn't grown out of it lol

Think I've seen every film ever made, bought god knows how much memorabilia as presents my favourite is Sean Connery and love the picture of him my son has leaning on his Aston Martin in the mountains.

Looking forward to seeing the next movie Skyfall is another of my faves. My husband was very annoyed when Diana Rigg got shot at the end In On Her Majesty's Secret Service as she was his teen crush.
