It works for me

I've not been in here for a while but I'm still on the weight loss journey, I calorie count, well I sort of calorie count. Thanks to this site I'm far more knowledgeable about what my regular foods consist of and the approximate number of calories in all of what I eat on a regular basis.

I did make a few changes to my diet I switched down from thick white bread to medium, I have stopped eating pears when I realised how high in calories they are, I still eat lots of fruit but just different types.

So far 32.5 lbs gone for good !

Pears are like 191 calories each where as Oranges are 41

I am not sure that you are right. I just googled it, 3 websites give calories between 50-80 depending on size of the pear. Where did you get 191 from? My fitness pal which a lot of people use on here says 80

Your right not to sure where I got that idea from but at least I can go back to eating pears :)

That's good news for me as well as I have a bag of pears in the kitchen!

congratulations- have you decided on how much you need to loose to get into the healthy BMI range- sometimes want and need are two different things!

About 12 stones is the to loose target, but I prefer to work on half a stone at a time, trying to use to big a target can be detrimental, so small steps is best for me.

I agree as well- also it means more non-food rewards for you when you achieve your min goals!!!!

Fabulous you and I'm so glad to hear that you 'sort of' calorie count. I do too but every now and then when my weight slips up I get a tighter control of the calories. You are doing great and incorporating this healthy of eating into your normal life. Thanks for sharing your success with us and keep up the great work😀
