Hi davie2001, you just started!! Haven't you noticed? You joined this community and you will get lots of advice and support - and a bit of very gentle cajoling when you slip back! Everyone is in the same boat, wanting to lose weight for a variety of reasons - but ultimately for ourselves. Your health problems suggest that you should lose weight to help your angina and your job suggests you should try to be more active to counter 'sitting' and the stress of driving. My husband has angina, diabetes, copd and a variety of other conditions so I know some of what you face. Can you join a walking group? Our village has a free Sunday walking group that gets together on Sunday afternoon for a gentle hour or so. Or look at the couch to 5km programme which starts very gently. Get yourself a pedometer and see how much walking you do in a typical day and then try to increase it bit by bit. Anyway - you will find lots of encouragement and ideas from others on this forum far better able than I! Welcome aboard!
Thank you
