Feeling upset

While walking into town yesterday a man in a car called me fat. It really upset me. I am a size 14 so not that fat.

Hi SandyH77 , some people are just so mean. As someone who really is FAT, I would love to be as small as you but I know how much it hurts to be insulted.

Years ago I used to say I may be fat but you are horrible, the difference is I can lose weight

The famous phrase that sprung to mind as I read this was, "We do not see things as they are, we see things as we are." I really think the issue is with the man who probably wishes he was thinner than he is so is noticing the shape of others. I really doubt at size 14 you are f*t. Start noticing how beautiful you are and how many people love you for you and forget the one jerk who said such an awful comment.

At size 14 you are definitely not fat! His comment says way more about him as a person than anything to do with you. He probably is miserable and wants you to feel the same way.
