It all depends on your age. I am retired and have been given a concession and only pay £100 month, I started on the NHS referral 3 months free training.

Membership at a gym
a236c, I did the same referral at the gym and found it very good. Are you really paying £100 for a gym? It seems a lot to me. I have opted for a pay-as-you go system.
My gym is £35 a month even without concessions. £100 seems a lot of money but as long as you enjoy it then it's worth it. x
I am delighted you are enjoying the gym so much Hidden that you have decided to continue and pay for membership.
I pay £19.50/month!! There's no pool but a great gym, track and lots of classes and of course the best members. It's so friendly. I'm planning on paying the annual membership upfront as of next month. That's even cheaper at £200 for the year.
I know some fancy gyms are a lot more and have better parking and sauna and pool.
I do pay extra for ballet lessons and go to another yoga studio (although my gym does have yoga). These are treats at about £6-£10 per session so I probably average out about £50/month over the year.
However, you can workout in the green gym or juggle lumphammers in your garage for free. This is the solution for some of our inventive weight loss winners! 👌
