Low impact exercises done whilst recovering from ankle sprain

Hi all. So on Thursday night I badly sprained my ankle but after 3 days of rest it's definitely loads better so I've been outside with my yoga mat and some weights and run through these exercises twice through 1 minute on each.

Heavily inspired by my best friend who broke her ankle last summer and had a cast on for several weeks. She was at the gym every day. Her friends all got fitter too and we had to drive her there and get all the weights out for her!!

Got a nice little sweat on and really chuffed that although there'll be no high impact for a while, I can still workout.

Very well done Active_43 😊 I am a firm believer that there is always some exercise you can do no matter how immobile or restricted!

Hope you are soon fully recovered

I've got a badly swollen foot, from an insect bite - getting twitchy as I have to sit and keep it elevated. I'll be doing some of these later! The antibiotics have killed my appetite and make me feel sick, so there are benefits I suppose!

I hope your ankle feels better soon. Well done for not using it as an excuse to sofa surf!
