The battle is so constant and seems overwhelming. Yes I ran 30 min today. Yesterday I biked 2 hours...tomorrow I will show up....again... I've been doing this for months and still fat. I know I need to count closer ...drink more water.... this is so hard.
Am I loosing?: The battle is so constant... - Weight Loss Support
Am I loosing?
Hi! Are you watching your eating? If you have been doing it for months and not losing 1-2 lb a week you must be eating too many calories. How much have you lost and how much more do you want to lose? Exercise is useful but it won't be enough if you are still eating too many calories.
I have 20 +lbs to loose. Have lost 2 lbs. week 1with you all but am trying not to get crazy with counting. I have no interest in obsessing over intake.thanks for the input
Ok, good luck
2lbs great 😊 if you lose 2lb a week you have more chance of keeping it off than going for big numbers, l hate it to its so disheartening to put in so much effort and not see what you want on the scale, but it's going down and that's all that matters, it might take longer than you want but it's happening, it's taken me years to put on this weight and if it takes 6 months or a year to lose it so what in the grand scheme of things that's nothing,
Don't be sad and don't obsess keep going be proud of yourself 😊
Thank you
Go to plateau mode and be ruthless, sometimes it's the only way, mix stuff up, it is possible, relax , fidget.
Been there and done it, it's tough you can fight it and lose
I am still eating too many calories. But I'm scared to have an eating disorder. You all are helping. Thank you. I do not have an eating disorder. I've been hiding behind that for 20 years. I vow to post calories every single day on this sight starting tomorrow. Hoping I can change. Thanks
Hi, use the daily diary to log whatever you wish then people can support you. If you are worried for your mental health please see a gp, nobody wants you to make yourself unwell.
Are you sure your not putting on muscle? Muscle weighs more than fat and with all that cycling your probably building muscle, forget the scales and try measuring yourself. It has taken me ages to get to where I am, with the scales not moving, but my OH kept commenting on how my shape was changing. So don't fret and keep telling yourself you can do it.
I was just going to say this to you Hidden
I'm the same weight I was a year ago (due to health issues - long story) but saw family recently who told me I must have lost loads because I was so much smaller!! Use other guides as well as the scales, clothes, a tape measure, photos 😊
And please use the Daily Diary, it is so good for being accountable, not just calories but food quality 😊
Thank you all so much! I had a bad day. I think I need to pay a bit closer attention to calorie intake without being psycho and realize it took a year to gain this weight it's not gonna come off in a month! I feel rejuvenated after a good sleep and I am ready to kick ass! Happy Sunday funday y'all😘
Hi Gypsy, I can relate to that, as my weight seems to be hovering, but as I go gym I have noticed I'm toning instead, so clothes are fitting lot better, just be patient you will see the results. Good luck.
