Unfortunately life threw me a lot of unwanted stress which resulted in me having many seizures leaving me incapacitated. I am however pleased to say that I am almost fully recovered and ready to shift the final few kilos to reach my target.
I would like to rejoin my weight-loss buddies 'Tuesday Trimmers' if they'll have me - and I'll weigh in next week. I have lost a little bit since I was last here in mid April.
And I have now lost 29.8kg in total and how have 2.8kg to go (more if I'm in between sizes, nothing more frustrating than nothing quite looking right after all that hard work). My waist to hip ratio still needs a lot of work, so need to focus more on toning.
I'm looking forward to catching up with everyone's progress, catch you all soon

Welcome back! Glad to hear your on the road to recovery and feeling well enough to rejoin us. You will be more than welcome to rejoin the Tuesday Trimmers. Well done is losing 29.8kgs so far your doing great.
Since you were last here with have introduced a "Daily Diary" which is posted daily and hosted by members. In the DD we all share our daily plan, recipes and tips so feel free to come and join in. You can find it on the Home page in Events next to the weigh in.
Thanks Rose, I have just been having a mooch through, looks like you have all been enjoying some really tasty meals. I look forward to pinching some ideas and will try to share mine too.
I need to rejoin your green gym too, my garden is not looking too good at the moment and I have lots of clearing to do before I can put my rather large seedlings out. Still at least it will burn some calories, just need to find the time to fit it in whilst catching up on everything else.
Welcome back Weight-be-gone , I've missed your little dragon.
I'm sorry to hear you have had such a rotten time but very pleased to hear that you are almost recovered. Just take it easy and I hope the stress doesn't take a hold again, hopefully all sorted out now💐
Thanks lucigret , I have missed interacting with you and many others on here. It has been very isolating not being well enough to even use the laptop, as although I have had lots of physical support from friends and neighbours - most of it has been aimed at the children and doing things with them and allowing me to rest. Which is what I needed but it got very lonely at times.
Hopefully the worst is over and it's time to move forward. You were having a tough time last I was on here. I hope your parents have fully recovered.
Well you don't have to feel lonely now, you have all of us to chat away to
Bless you for remembering. Mum is holding her own, in fact we have had a really good day. She felt up to going out, so we went to a small garden centre an got some plants and then had a cup of tea at the lovely cafe next door, so she was sat out in the sunshine for a while. We drove back down the country lanes that she used to walk as a child, so a great day - they were both exhausted by the time we got back but well worth it
I think we all learn to adjust to the 'new normal', don't have a lot of choice really do we.
It's good that you have some good friends and neighbours as well as your forum friends.
Take care
Awesome job!!! You are an inspiration to me who has just started my journey!!
Good to have you back and glad you are feeling a lot better just in time for the good weather. Well done on your weight loss. I have a lot to lose to be able to catch up with you
