Right. Determination time... I joined this group a few months ago and lost 5lbs in the time I concentrated on my diet and exercise. I haven't lost the weight I wanted to though so I'm starting afresh to try and achieve a 1 stone loss by July 9th.
It's really difficult to concentrate on loosing weight when life through holidays, birthdays, injurys and work stress at you. But this time I'm going to make a concerted effort to get in shape for summer.
I'm going to try and post every week routinely to keep my mind focused, so here goes....
Week 1 Weigh in 13st 11lbs
I'm already an active person, running twice a week and also playing netball and cycling once a week. Because I've always been active I think the only way for me to shift this weight is be really strict with my diet. I'm cutting out all white/processed foods to begin with as I know they are the culprit for a lot of my weight gain. Eating lots of fresh fish, fruit and vegetables is the plan, let's hope I can stick to it!
