Hi everyone. So fed up of being the size I am. I have a 2 year old daughter and still not lost the baby weight yet. I also changed the pill before Christmas and the weight has piled on since then. With summer on its way I've had enough of being this size so I'm joined this group and looking to be inspired by you all.

Hi sophiewlewis

Welcome to the weight loss forum.

Take a look at the Welcome Newbie post in the Pinned post section at the right hand side or at the bottom if your on a mobile. Have a look at the nhs 12 week plan, many members have had success following this plan. Use the BMI checker to work out your daily calorie allowance.

Have a look at the Daily Diary which you can find on the Home page in Events. It is where all the members are sharing their daily plans on what they are eating and any exercise they are doing. This thread will give you some ideas on how to start.

Below the Pinned posts are the Topics where members share a range of weight related subjects.

Take your measurements at the start together with a photo so you can see the changes on the days the scales don't move.

We have daily weigh ins so why not come along and join us today. You can find the weigh ins on the Home page in the Events section on the right. Just click on the post in Events and record your start weight and any loss/gain or maintain for the week.

To get the most of the forum be active, share tips, recipes and experiences. Read some of the posts they are very motivating.

Have a good first week.

Rose

my youngest is two next month and i too still have plenty of baby weight hangi g around. Exactly the reason im here too. You've picked the right place. My advice.....give it 100% focus on the first week and hopefully the weight loss will spur you into the following week!

I'm sure someone will be along to point u in the right direction in a minute

best of luck! πŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺwe can do this together!!!πŸ‘

Thank you for replying. Not looking forward to weighing myself tomorrow morning after the big roast dinner I've just had but hopefully I will be a few pounds lighter the following Monday. I just need to stay positive, motivated and away from the bakery section in the supermarket πŸ˜‚

i was cringing at the thought of putting my weight Down "on paper" but at the end of the day we are all here for the same reason so just do it and don't look back! I had 7lb off in my first week, but then i do have a lot to lose. You'll probable advised to have a short and long time goal in mind so have a think about that tonight!😘 you can do it no problem......and everyone's so supportive on here you will never be alone, any questions or help you need just ask away😘

Cool beans πŸ‘Œ

I Sophie- hun- my "baby" is 35 and my weight from pregnancy with him has gone up n down like a yoyo. I now take HRT which has the same with weight as the Pill. I,ve asked my gp to put me to Xenical who make Orlistat as I used it some years ago with good results. This forum seems really good and had I not started my programme I would try to follow the NHS diet, my BMI is 31 and my cholesterol was 7.4 6 months ago- that's terrible and as well as last years summer clothes not fitting it spurred me on to get something done!

All my clothes are tight too and don't fit right as my tummy is huge. Wish I had started a diet back in January but there's no time like the present. I feel quite motivated at the moment, just need to carry on feeling like this. I came off my antidepressants about a month ago so I think being more active and eating healthier will be good for my self esteem and mental health.
