I joined Slimming World at the end of October 2019 - and I am doing really well, 1stone and half a pound down so far. I have joined this forum so I can get even more advise and inspiration from all you lovely people on here too
I got to the point where I was unable to buy clothes in mainstream stores and when I did manage to find things online they were too long in the arms or leg and I had to get them taken up, which was just even more embarrassment!

If you "slim smart" weight loss is not so hard! It is not all about motivation and masochism.
Some of us here find that what works is a combination of The Low Carbohydrate, High-Fat (LCHF) diet (see the forum here on Health Unlocked) and Not Snacking All Day AKA Intermittent Fasting (IF). See:
I have started attending Aqua Fit classes at my local gym.. but I don't go every week, just when I can. So I would say it's mainly down to the diet.. Although with that said, even though I am heavy, I have never been lazy, I have always done over 8000 steps a day (as a minimum, just through work and housework etc) x
