"...could probably lose the great to be honest!"... made me chuckle. The good news, is that you don't need to exercise to lose weight. There are some wonderful people here, who for one reason or another are unable to exercise and are managing their weight loss.
At the end of the day it comes down to the number of calories in against the number of calories out but doing it in a way that is healthy, manageable and in the long term, sustainable.
Lots of support here, so whatever path you travel down, don't forget to use this site whether you're feeling positive or whether things may not be going quite how you'd hoped.
Good luck on your journey!
Hi planejane
I'm 54, 5ft 4 and my weight has crept up to 10stone 13. Over the last 4 years. Which puts my BMI at 26.2 ( not good) And now I, like you need to get rid of between 1.12 and 2stone.
I've just bought my self a Veryfit fit bit to see if I can get up to 10,000 steps a day. This last week l managed 6,500 most days.
My plan is to view each day as one day closer to my goal - and not dwell on when things go off track, just get back on track right away.
Wishing you a good week.
Welcome Kaytea and it sounds like you're making a good start.
You've probably already read the welcome post from YellowRose55 but I've tagged Rose, in case she'd like to make your welcome more official.
Good luck!
Thanks I'll take a look at Yellowrose.
Any advice for a vegetarian on easy recipes.
Have a look down the right hand side (from the 'Home' page) for the Topics session, which includes recipes.
I guess the internet is always going to be a pretty good source and Cracker10 posted this

...only a couple of hours ago. I guess it depends on what you call easy
Have fun, as that's the best way of achieving most things.
Hi I am a peskatarian (eat fish but not meat) so I would love some easy recipes too please.
