hi, im starting tomorrow to, i got all my food in for the week and weighed the amounts ready, after years of not weighing i was shocked to find out i was 3 stone over weight, i am now determined and after finding this site, we are not alone, good luck and hopefully we will get slim soon.
i am probably 4-5 stone overweight for my height. I lost about two stone about 3 years ago after a years illness, and have slowly put it on. My biggest problem is that i comfort eat when i am feeling low. As i am a very emotional person also, this can be quite a lot!.
Good luck with starting.. im 45 and also struggled all my life with yoyo dieting. i started on this forum in december and im still here 4mths later. This forum has taught me that this isnt a diet its a way of life and it doesnt matter if you dont lose every week because our bodies cling onto weight at certain times of the month but the weight does come off eventually if you give it time.... im averaging about 5lbs a month now and i accept that i lose slowly but ive never stuck to an 'eating & exercise' plan as long as i have this time and thats due to the support from this forum. Also i recommend getting yourself on a weighin day here as that really keeps you on track and get a cheer or a supportive hug when you need it !
