Hi, just joined today. Have been attending well known diet clubs with limited success. Am hoping I can find some motivation here to help me lose the 2st I really want to get rid of.

Take a look at the Pinned posts section to the right of your screen (bottom if you're using a mobile), read the Welcome Newbie thread, then move through to the challenges, where we hope you'll find at least one that will appeal to you.
Move down to the Topics, to find a variety of threads, collated into specific topics for ease of access and we ask that you also 'file' your own threads, so that others won't miss your important news.
Take a look at the 12 week plan, as a lot of people have been successful with it, making sure to enter your details into the BMI calculator, to get a calorie allowance tailored to your personal requirements. Don't forget to take your starting measurements and a 'before' picture, as they can be very motivating on days that the scales refuse to co-operate.
We run daily weigh-in's and you'd be very welcome to join us. The threads can always be found in the Events section, to the right of the home page, bottom on a mobile.
We've found that to get the best out of this community, we need to be active on the forum, as it's where we exchange information, get motivation and inspiration and make friends. We hope that you'll join us here, regularly, too.

Just finished the 12 week challenge. Started at 13st 13 lb and now 10st 13lb. It works , but its not easy. It works if you Diet and exercise. Forget the biscuits , crisp and cola. and it will work.
I did not fancy jogging. So got a new bike, started at 5 miles a day and now do 20 miles.
I know every body has not go the time, but I work evenings. And don't Forget to have treats ,but not every day. And it will work and 2st will be gone. ( Little Treats as Well)

Hi Lizi21. This is my 3rd week and I have lost 2lb and 1 inch off waist. I have been to most diet clubs over many years ( which if i ate the colletion of books only i would be silf like !! ha ) with some success but give up as they get boring. I have given myself a talking to again and don't want to be fat and 60 next year. So money saved from clubs for swimming once a week and I do half hr excercise routine to stretch my muscles in morning and get a walk in through the day. Writing everything down on nhs diet sheet are amust as keeps me on track as I cheat otherwise. Gradually this gets easier. Chin up or in my case 2 😂. Onwards and downwards 😉.
