Today I reached a normal BMI. Very happy! I am weighing 85.0kg which gives me 24.8 BMI (I'm 1m85). Onwards to the 83kg target, which I can now see in the mirror will be perfect for me. I should get there by mid-April at the latest. I will target 45m now for my 10km run on 2 April as I will be getting very close to my target weight by then.

BMI Normal. Hooray!
Wow! Congratulations to you that's amazing work, well done!
Woohoo, Chris!! WTG you! My pom poms are in overdrive!!
All the best for the last 2kg and for a 10K of 45m! Really impressive!

Congratulations on reaching your BMI 💐. Here's to reaching your goal 😀

Thanks everyone! I must admit that I have been surprised that the last few kilos have not been more difficult, as I hear that they are often the most difficult to shift. I think I've been very lucky. On the other hand I may live to regret those words as I still have 2kg to go If I continue to exercise (which I will, because I really like it) I think I will really enjoy my food and drink once the 1000 calorie deficit (required to lose 1kg a week, which I have done since November) has ended, but in moderation. I must not go back to way I ate and drank before, though!!!! But I'm feeling optimistic for maintenance as I also have a feeling that my appetite has become smaller. And I feel so much better! I never want this feeling to go away.
🎉🎉brilliant
Thanks! And I see that you were running well, Folliegirl, until you got injured two years or so ago. Have you been able to start running again?
Yes, if truth be told that injury was the making of my running ... I did it doing the C25K+ podcasts on a fat-burning interval run, running full pelt down hill! As part of my recovery I reversed my route to embrace uphill running which I had mainly avoided where possible! Now I love hill running - who'd have thought??? Losing a little weight has helped, I did a hard, hilly 10k in 45 minutes a couple of weekends ago. (I have also joined a gym and go 3 times a week, helping with strength and stamina!)
Well done ..I am on a mission along with weight loss to reduce my colestrol and bmi ..
My goodness, that healthybmi badge looks great on you! 🏆🏆🏆
That's a great 10km time! Well done for reaching that elusive healthy weight and good luck with the last few kgs.
