Today is my birthday so yesterday I haf a very delicious meal with the family in a Greek restaurant. Mmmmm meze! This morning coffee and croissants with friends, this afternoon a chocolate brownie and I think a glass of wine might have slipped in somewhere.
But. That. Is. It.
Back on the straight and narrow, I've made a promise to myself. By my next birthday I plan to be in the overweight rather than the obese category so I need to get back to healthy eating. NOW!
That all sounds great. I spent a year and half working in a Greek restaurant, many moons ago and have a great fondness for a meze. I imagine its not easy to portion control when it comes in a wave of small portions.

I have lived in Greece ... got relatives there. I can live on nearly nothing and still live !

Thank you! Well the damage this morning seems to be 2lb so I need to get rid of that for a start - hopefully by the Friday weigh in.

In previous years the 'birthday' would have gone on for at least a week so this forum has definitely changed my outlook.
