Its my birthday in 8 days. Should i start my diet now or after? I guess i could start now and allow a birthday treat. Thoughts?

Only you can decide :) If you choose to put it off you could still do a bit of research in the meantime into calories and nutrients in the foods you like. How many calories you should be eating and what plan you wish to follow. No doubt doing these things will lead to you thinking more about what you eat anyway.

Hope you have a lovely birthday whatever you decide to do :)

Now! Why wait? If you follow the plan for the next 7days , you will feel very pleased with yourself ....a great birthday present! Then have what you like on your birthday, it wont ruin 7 days effort, then resume your healthy eating the day after.

Start now and have a pig out day on your birthday if you wish, then continue with healthy eating. You may find you will do sensible eating on your birthday anyway as you will be more aware. Compensate by having a vege soup that night. Have one drink only then fill up your glass with water. you will be fine. Good luck on your journey. It is very rewarding

I would say start now because there will always be that 'something important' going on 😉 and don't think of your birthday as a 'day off' just make really good delicious choices - don't limit yourself but enjoy every mouthful of healthy food that is feeding your body. Have s great birthday 👍🏻

If you put it off now, for your birthday after that could be a work do or a holiday, then you will just get into a neverending cycle. I think you should start today, you dont have to deprive yourself on your birthday just be more aware of what you do eat. We all have treats now and then and life will always throw challenges and temptations at you, so why not start now and you will be a week closer to your goal and you will feel great, best present you can ever give yourself :-)

Why put off till tomorrow what you can do today?

All the best

I started mine two weeks before my birthday and ate loads of fruit and veg which allowed me a piece of birthday cake but I agree only you can make that decision. Good luck and I hope you have a very happy birthday.
