Mmmmm celeriac

I tried roasting a whole celeriac today. I recommend it! Deliciously buttery texture and divinely flavoured.

I used heavy duty foil, sprayed liberally with One Cal spray, dusted with pepper, salt and dried herbs, wrapped tight and baked with the meat at 180°c for 2 hours.

Will make mash with leftovers for a different cottage pie tomorrow

Yep tasty. I've roasted cauliflower. Sit in a deep large dish. Smother in plain yogurt mixed with your favourite curry powder or paste and whang into oven at 180 for about an hour to 90 mins, depending on size of cauliflower. Baste with the yogurt 2-3 times during cooking

I love celeriac mash, I usually do 50/50 with potatoes, nobody realises they're getting extra veg 😉

I have never had this vegetable before but just googled its benefits and it's amazing⭐ for women after the menopause it's a must as helps against osteoporosis also brain function (my mum has Alzheimer's) so I will be putting this on my shopping list to try. So many other benefits too so thank you for posting this one I wonder if everyone will notice it in with the potato mash?👍😊
