Week 4 and I've reached my first goal.....I've lost half a stone 😁

Not too hard either but I don't say I'm dieting...I'm just making healthier lifestyle choices and breaking a few bad habits.

Seems to be working so far.

Have a good week everyone.

Excellent news Loulouloves ☺ would you like a 7lb badge?

And why don't you pop over to the Monday weigh-in group and introduce yourself?

well done. its surprising how much you can loose by making lifestyle choices, by that I assume you mean eating better food cutting down portion size and cutting out snacks

Yes pretty much although I've not cut anything out completely.

For instance tonight I've been to the theatre and had a gin and tonic..but I made sure it was a slimline tonic and normally I'd have had wine but gin is less calories. So I still have a drink that I enjoy but I choose the lesser of two evils.

I also exercise now which I never used to do. Now I go swimming 3 or 4 times a week and workout at home on the days I can't swim. That makes a huge difference.

That is the kind of changes I am making what I also have found that I can just have one or a few .I used to be able to eat a whole packet of biscuits but now it is just a few my bread slices are thinner too I do. like wine so I had a small bottle. As for exercise its dog walking. and now the weather is better I am out in the garden you don't have to give up everything to loose weight

This is so true and it's also a matter of not punishing yourself. I find that everytime I say I'm on a diet I start to crave things that I normally wouldn't crave....we always want what we can't have! Now that I'm NOT on a diet but am choosing for myself what to eat and when and choosing to lead a healthier life it becoming much easier.

Walking and gardening are great forms of exercise and I enjoy both too.
