A quick message to say hello to everyone as I am 'new' to this site.
I am definitely 'getting lighter' as I have managed to lose some 3 stones since January 2016. Not too sure what my 'ideal' weight should be, but I would love to be under 11.5 st; currently at 12 st 8.5 lbs - so may need to look for support in getting there.
Hope to read some constructive comments on here, and look forward to helping anyone who feels that they need helping along.

Well done you, for losing 3 stones already, that brilliant! Would you like a 3 stone badge?
Take a look at the Pinned posts section to the right of your screen (bottom if you're using a mobile), read the Welcome Newbie thread, then move through to the challenges, where we hope you'll find at least one that will appeal to you
Move down to the Topics, to find a variety of threads, collated into specific topics for ease of access and we ask that you also 'file' your own threads, so that others won't miss your important news
Have a look at the 12 week plan, as many people have been successful following it. Don't forget to take your starting measurements and a 'before' picture, as they can be very motivating on days that the scales refuse to co-operate
We run daily weigh-in's and you'd be very welcome to join us. The threads can always be found in the Events section, to the right of the home page, bottom on a mobile.
We've found that to get the best out of this community, we need to be active on the forum, as it's where we exchange information, get motivation and inspiration and make friends. We hope that you'll join us here, regularly, too
It's only left for me to wish you well on your journey
Hi Moreless i used to do long distance country running. A very long time ago. Hope you are enjoying your evening and thanks for your support everyone. Good night all. X G56
Thank you for your comments. A 3 stone badge would be wonderful - but do I have to carry it around with me??? !!
I hope to be an active member as I know how difficult losing weight can be. Any support when you are 'on a downer' can be so useful when you are at a low point.
Hi you have came to the best place. I'm new to & the support is of the highest quality. The group is fantastic!! Real people. I'm going to have a long journey but I know I'm not alone. G56
Thanks for being in touch, it's good to see that you have such a positive view of this group. I hope that your 'journey' is successful, and should you need any help - you only need to ask.
