Week Four.

So thanks to working in an office, earlier this week I got sick with a bad cold, nasty cough, ear infection and so on. So remained at work, but last workout was on Tuesday (eep). After Christmas I had gained 3 of the 4 pounds back (thanks mum hah). But am keeping an eye on my consumption of sweets. And have started to get into a smoothie a day of berries, a bit of lemon sorbet and water after a workout or being at the office.

I'm a bit disappointed that I gained back what I had lost due to not being near my bike over the holidays and now from being sick.

Anyone got any advice for when you're feeling disheartened by the scales and the seasonal flu's?

Hi Aliceconstance,

So sorry to hear that you haven't been well are are feeling a bit down in the dumps, I hope that you'll start to feel much better, very soon :)

What works for me, is making myself accountable and getting involved with everything that's going on here. I shall be weighing in today and possibly on other days this week and I've joined Tailsmo 's Long Distance Pathways Challenge, to make sure I shift myself and get walking! I find reading the posts motivating too :)

I hope you'll find something that works for you :)

Hello Hidden

You are not alone in gaining weight over Christmas 😕 But winners are the ones who get back on the wagon after a blip ☺ Well done for that ☺

Take time to recover and focus on eating properly to regain your health ☺ Your smoothie sounds perfect. You will soon get your fitness back ☺

Best wishes

Anna
