Well... I was doing my last bit of Christmas shopping yesterday and doing a little bit for someone else too. Getting through all the bustling people and some who are dawdling and as you try and scoot past them they move the same way as you! π‘
So with bags of shopping, parking ticket nearing an end slow moving crowded peeps to steer round and a rumbling belly!
Finally on the way back to car smiles upon my cheeks π Then...
Mmm... Sniffs air... Chip shop!!! That's it, can't resist!! Pops in feeling very very guilty, portion of chips please with a little vinegar. (Feeling like a naughty child excitedly waiting) back to the car, savagely unwrapping my Devils delights! The smell itself devouring me! Ahhh.... A steaming chip between my fingers!!! Drooling at such a treat, popped it in and slowly started to chew.
The it felt like my angel had cracked me on the head and said what are you doing!!!!!!! All that hard work and dedication and help and support from your forum friends!!!!!
I wrapped up the chips and took them home for the dogs and the turkey to eat π€ Sorry guys I won't do it again. Came home had a banana and a go ahead sassy strawberry biscuit.
P.s. The turkey is not for Christmas dinner he's part of our family π

Oh my goodness you have so much willpower I know had a I had that "devil's food"in front of me Trevor and doggies would have missed out π±
I was really strong the other day we had been out shopping and my husband suggested getting some chips on the way home and I said No ! Had we not been in the car and walking past a chip shop instead I think I would have been very weak
Glad he isn't your dinner he is very handsome π
Oh no couldnt eat Trevor when I see the Lidls advert where the lady goes to the turkey farm and gets shown that they are all happy- then they sit down to a turkey dinner I think oh no I couldn't do that after seeing them
I have to not think I'm eating animals can't eat rabbit either π±
I bet Trevor feels very safe and secure with you π
I just said to my husband Do you want to see a photo of Trevor he's really good looking just joined the forum think I'll start chatting to him He said No not really all shocked!!
He laughed when I showed him and told him the story he said Oh no can't eat Trevor ππππ
Thanks for sharing its started my morning off nicely x ππ
Aww.... Thank you πππ I feel proud that you wanted your husband to see Trevor.
He's so tame he's wonderful.
Comes down from the stables in the mornings to greet me for his breakfast. He sleeps in the same stable as Nanny the goat, the 6 sheep have the stable next door to go in and out as they please.
And the 6 feral cats are dotted about spying me off waiting for their breakfast too.
The dogs come with me and Ted fetches the sheep across for their breakfast while I'm putting everyone's food out.
Jane lays in the middle of the paddock making sure we do everything right π
Was so funny as my husband thought I was talking about a man and I was going to be chatting to him π He really laughed when I showed him He thought he was wonderful π€
Oh your life it sounds absolutely idyllic You should write stories as I was picturing it all Love all the names Happy families indeed π
So glad Trevor has such a nice life I don't think I'm ever going to able to look at (please cover Trevor's eyes ) turkeys to eat in the same way again π
I was giggling to myself when you said to your husband about Trevor as I was certain in my mind he would think you was talking about a man π
Well when Trevor was given to us as a present to grow up as Christmas lunch!
Christmas dinner changed rapidly!
Not really having thought about Christmas turkey before until it had a face, heart, feelings and character! And so pleased to see you every morning π¦

Trevor looks ace... I'm not having turkey for xmas anyway so tell Trevor I'm not eating his relatives this year haha.
well done your for not eating those chips that must have taken enormous will power to resist them especially with then sat there for the drive home smelling delicious.
I had a little win yesterday too hubby & son fancied a pizza and I'd just come back from a 40min swim.. and thought oh go on then.. but instead of pizza I ordered chicken shish kebab & salad and loved it... I didn't even nick a slice of pizza from theirs either.... think we got some strong angels looking over us at the moment x
Chips from the chip shop always smell lovely but I find that the smell is better than the taste. So we'll done, but tell yourself that you would have been disappointed with them if you'd eaten them.
