Started my weight loss journey a number of years ago. Lost 2stone 9lbs so far but it's been too slow. I hope this approach will get rid of the rest more quickly. Any help to keep me motivated will be greatly received.

I'm no expert Lisa but it's my opinion you need to 'commit psychologically', change your diet permanently, or just until you stop breathing 😄 AND look around you or talk to other people who may be at a good bmi weight range and realise that you're not alone on your journey......... Many many people 'watch what they eat' permanently just because slimmer people don't talk about it doesn't mean they don't practice it .......... I don't include the odd splurge, life and living = balance ! It's taken me till now ( I'm 50 ) to find a way of eating that works for me; coupled with commitment etc...... all boring, all stuff you may have heard before, but if you're willing to accept your mission wholeheartedly you'll be fine 😘
Hello Hidden 😊 Welcome to the forum, and very well done on losing so much weight! That is excellent 😊😊😊 I have lost a similar amount and have been on this current eating plan for well over a year, and realise I will need to follow it for good to keep the weight off 😕
You don't say how long it has taken you but nhs guidelines suggest 1-2lb a week is a good target 😊
When you get chance have a look at the newbies post, and also some of the challenges which may give you added motivation 😊 There is also a weekly weigh in if you wish to join.
Good luck and best wishes
