Started the week off great but had some hard news on wed , one of my little dogs is ill and the vet has advised us that the operation well be major and she might not recover well as she is getting on a bit and has already lost 3 kg since march when she had another op. We are left quite shaken and have a couple of weeks of tablets then we will have to say goodbye. So I ate lots of cake and treats for three days trying to come to terms with things , I have managed to go to the gym and have found it good for focusing on other things but not expecting any loss this week.

Not such a good week had sad news
I am so sorry about your doggy. Xx. We often turn to the comforting foods when we are upset and you are not alone. Just post when you need a bit of support. Xx
So sorry to hear your sad news, our furry friends are such a big part of our lives x x
I am so sorry to hear one of your family members are unwell - loads of love n hugs to you all x x
scrap this week of weight loss and start again next week - don't beat yourself up <3
Hi dish70
Sorry to hear your sad news. Hope you feel better soon (((((hugs)))) 😊
Sorry to hear of your poorly doggie😪 I might sound mad but sometimes we are closer to some of our pets than human members of our family at least I know I am. I lost 2 of my dogs early in their lives because of cancer and kidney problems but no matter how old they are we still don't want to say goodbye. Have a memorable couple of weeks safe in the knowledge that your doggie is being loved and looked after so well. ❤️️❤️️❤️️
Best wishes Bev 💐
My heart goes out to you,it is such an awful time and it's so easy to turn to what soothes us.
Don't be hard yourself, you got to the gym and if you maintain for a weeeks then why not {{{{hug}}}}
Take care
😇
Oh dear, I do feel for you. I found it helped me to talk a lot to and even gently sing silly songs to my cat when she was old and very very ill - she seemed to enjoy this and it made her feel extra loved I like to think. I can understand how sad you must be feeling.
Aww, im very sorry about your doggie. its a hard time try not to worry abot weightloss too much atm. 💜 xx
So sorry to hear about your little dog..be strong..you have done all you can do to help her..if you put weight on its ok this week..start again next week..
So sorry about your little dog. My son's little dog, Missy is only 3 months short of 17. She is brilliant for her age, a little old lady, and I adore her. However I only see her when I visit in Wales and I am very aware that every time I leave to come home, it may be the last time I see her. She gets lots of extra cuddles before I leave. Enjoy every minute with your little one. Naturally I hope she comes through with flying colours. Good luck.
Leave the thought of your weight till a another moment. Go to the gym if you feel like it will relax you and give you some peace. I'm so sorry to hear of your doggies ills it is so difficult. Hold close to heart as she passes over bridge she will be waiting with a tail wagging running from the hill side to greet you.
Thank you for all the kind thoughts ,it is much appreciated .
In your circumstances not losing will hardly be surprising - your mind will be firmly focussed on other things. Take the time to enjoy what you have and let weight loss be your priority at a later date.
It's so sad to lose your dog I lost my little one in June after just 2weeks of being told it was his liver.I know he was turned 13 I still feel very upset and yes comfort eating kicks in
