Tonight for tea had roasted half a sweet potato (saving other half for lunch tomorrow), tomatoes and carrots with a chicken breast coated in bread crumbs. Loving the root veg at this time of year. Hoping to try pumpkin at Halloween!
Watching a documentary about the benefits of vegtables and fruit how you should eat as many different colours as you can, find this much more fun than aiming for 5 a day. I really like this idea so have tried to make my lunch tomorrow as colourful and pretty as possible with green lettuce, celery and cucmber, orange carrots and sweet potato, red tomatoes and purple grapes.

Oh yes, I love to see lots of colours on the plate. Not too sure about cold sweet potato, but I am having a jacket one tomorrow for tea with beans and any salad left in the fridge. I also add black grapes and grated carrots to salads, very nice
I like your idea too. I am amazed at myself, because I bought some toasted pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds yesterday, because I wanted something crunchy. They are so nice, and this is something I would not have tried before looking at this site and seeing the different things people have. I never used to like leeks either, but tried something yesterday for tea with leeks and ham hock in - it was gorgeous.
