Hi everyone, I've been trying to be healthy for a few weeks now and been reading the very supportive advice on here, and this is my first post. After 7 weeks and losing 11 pounds, I am now officially a healthy weight according to the NHS BMI Calculator (even though it's the top end of the healthy range), and I've lost 5.5 inches from my waist.
Very pleased with myself!
I've still got another 19 pounds to go to be in the middle of the healthy range, which is a bit daunting, but I've came this far. It's been a mixture of calorie counting, giving up alcohol, swimming, walking, cycling, horse riding and being on Week 5 of the C25K. I've had my low points when the scales didn't seem to move and it's hard to not get disheartened, but this forum has helped me stay positive.
Can't wait for my first stone lost badge, and C25K Graduate badge!
Onwards and downwards!!!
