Just a quick update after two weeks on the Med... Hidden I kept at the strength challenge and those blooming planks - I can now hold for 35 seconds - next week I'm going to try for 40. I've upped my running to 6K - yesterday I ran it in 32 minutes I am more than chuffed with that - however it was along the promenade area so totally flat - I'll see how that translates into 'real' running on Monday. Caz28 hmmm lots of desserts consumed on holiday - will get weighed on Thursday and report back with the damage - hope it's not too bad - I'm not getting on those scales tonight!

:-) ditto all of the above - very impressive.....

Thanks everyone for all the postive comments. I think I need to thank Hidden for the September challenge - I'm pretty sure the extra strength exercises have helped improve my running. Last week I had the confidence to ditch my ipod and my 30 minute run and switch to a 6K run. As mad as this sounds I'm looking forward to being able to hold a plank for 60 seconds which if things go well I should be able to achieve in about another month. I know that chart looks a bit impressive but in reality I'm only doing about the total of an hour three times a week. I don't do anything at the weekend and I always have a rest day between exercising.
