My second Day feeling positive &enjoying finding healthy foods.

Hi i have Osteoarthritis in my spine & hips which can be very painful some days which limits the types of exercise i can do which is very frustrating . I have a small dog which i walk daily , i'm also a keen gardener growing my own vegatables . Has any one got any tips on a suitable exercise i can do at home.

Firstly, Welcome to the Weight Loss NHS forum. 😊 It's a very friendly forum full of great people 😊

When you get chxnce, havd a look at the Pinned Posts section, to the right of your screen (bottom, if you're using a mobile) and have a look at the Welcome Newbies thread. Lots of resources in here 😊

Look at the Topics section beneath that, for posts that could answer any questions you may have. Consider joining any, or all, of our challenges, as they're fun and motivating. 😊

Most of us take part in the Monday Group weigh-in. If you follow Lowcal and Moreless (our very approachable site Admins), you'll be notified when they post the threads. The latest weigh-in thread can always be found in the Events section, to the right of the home page. 😊

I find being active on the forum verg motivating and inspiring, and very useful when the munchies strike!! 😊

With regards to your arthritis, any exercise needs to be gentle and controlled. I like yoga and Pilates, and swimming and walking, even though I can't walk far it really lifts my spirits 😊 You have my sympathy with regards to your spine, I have only recently developed back problems which are still not resolved 😕 My poor garden has really suffered as a result.
