Hi all i started my new weight loss plan on Monday and being very over weight and diabetic 2 with other health problems. I’ve decided to keep a diary of all what I eat each day. Has anyone else done this and found this helpful .

Sounds like me! Recently gained even more weight from being out of work and at home all day. I have found, when previously successful at losing, that a diet diary was very helpful. Now I am at an all-time high with 80 pounds to lose. Newly diagnosed diabetic, with other health issues. Must do this. Good luck to you!

Hi I have 10st to lose but I have to do it and I’m hoping being on here will help. I have also got loads of health problems good luck you can do it

I used to do it using an app (cronometer, there is also MyFitnessPal, nutracheck etc etc), but I have stopped.

Yes absolutely! Also check out the daily diary on here - it is mostly for pre-planning which I found made all the difference. Knowing what I was going to eat in advance was very helpful. If you want to use it also for post-reporting, you can always talk about how you did today while laying out your plan for tomorrow. Give it a try... it is so supportive and helpful!

You’re not alone! What’s good about this site is that we can access it everyday - not just once a week like many weight loss programmes. So the support and encouragement is always there. There’s also no pressure to meet goals - just go at your own pace and you will get there 😊

I do this everyday helps me plan my meals good luck with your weight loss journey

Well I’ve had almost 2 days looking at what I am eating so I will see how I go.
