I had haddock with a poached egg and half a baked tomato on 1 and a half slices of wholemeal bread with butter this morning, which was very tasty. Weekdays I often have porridge, with nuts, seeds and fruit.

Hi! I used to have porridge but found a high carb breakfast didn't suit me or help my weight (although I know it suits many people) so I generally have boiled eggs with just a few wholegrain rice cakes or quinoa which is high protein with apple and sugar free peanut butter (it's lush!)
I like whole meal toast with peanut butter or Greek yogurt with low gi granola and berries
Adding a teaspoon of cocoa powder to your porridge and banana will make it taste really divine. Just like chocolate, but, of course, cocoa powder is good for you.
I have porridge a lot, and add different things to it - berries, a few nuts or seeds (not too many obviously), a little coconut. Today I grated in half an apple, plus 2 chopped pecan halves and some cinnamon, and was very pleased with how that turned out. I think porridge is very versatile.
I also like weetabix - handy that you don't have to weigh it out, again with different fruits and nuts/seeds on top.
Also toast and penut butter with an orange on the side is very nice. A bacon butty, with medium-sliced whole meal, and grilled lean bacon & tomatoes.
You'll note that I am not on the low carb regime!
A few more:
2 toasted crumpets with 1oz grated low fat cheese and sliced tomatoes on top.
Ryvitas with cheese and tomatoes on top
A kipper boiled in the bag
I really enjoy breakfast!
