3 weeks ago I joined in the NHS 12 weeks losing weight plan. I`m feeling dispondent this week, I`ve been (on the whole) really good diet wise, going to the gym 6 times a week for an hour a time but such little weight loss!! I`ve lost cm around the waist and hips, I know that is more important but I would love to see all the efford on the scales as well, anybody else gone through this? any tips, advice, support

3 weeks in and only lost 2 kilo`s!
Two whole kilos?? Have you seen what a 2kilo pack of butter looks like?? That's an excellent weight loss, really! You are losing FAT not water or muscle . . . Honestly, I doubt you gained weight at that rate, please don't be despondent, you are doing absolutely brilliantly! 😊❤️🎉👏🎈😊

2 kilos in 3 weeks is fantastic! It's much better to lose weight at that sort of pace than crash dieting which just ends up going back on again, plus more (been there, done that). Also, if you are going to the gym, you are probably increasing muscle mass (lean) which weighs twice as heavy as fat. If you've lost inches that proves it. You want to lose fat and not lean. Another thing to remember is that you put the weight on over a long period of time, if you are like most of us, and it will come off the same way. It is frustrating, but don't give up! Lots of support on here keeps me going
thanks guys, great to get the encouragement and support, I have so many times started this challenge and give up after a few weeks down the line. hopefully this time in times of dispair of temptation, i`ll turn to the forum
I finished the 12 week challenge with a 9 lb loss. I have rebooted and lost another pound a week. Some of us lose weight at a slower rate but we are losing. It took time to put it on so maybe it's right that it takes time to lose it. I had several plateaus in those 12 weeks one of 3 weeks but I didn't put it on. Stick with it😀
Snap, I don't do the gym but had been doing excersie daily and watched what I ate ,lost only 1lb, was a bit dispondent gave myself a bit of a talking to , Stick with it and see what next week brings slowly does it.
